 Validity and Prices of Indonesia Tourist Visa:
Tourist and Transit Visa on Arrival are available with cost for up to 30 (thirty) days stay US $35.00. Your arrival day is counted as your first day, and you must leave the country on the 30th day.
Tourist visas could be extending for another 30 days and not convertible into other types of visa.
Overstay visitors incur a penalty of IDR 300.000 per day for under 60 days over-stay.

Requirement for Indonesia Tourist Visa:
Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
Please note that tourist visas do not apply to foreigners/expatriates (including members of their family) who are assigned/ based in Indonesia.

As stated on the above should apply in Indonesia Embassy at your country and You can get a 60 day visa validity (you have up to 3 months from date of application to enter Indonesia where you will then get your 60 day stamp) OR at one of the countries close to Indonesia like Penang City in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur City in Malaysia, Bangkok in Thailand and Singapore. Usually takes about 3 working days and you will need a passport that has at least 12 months left on it, two passport photos, photocopy of the first page of your passport and money to pay for the 60 day visa.
